Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities
  • Excellent leadership skills, with experience building and managing a high performing team
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing ordering and/or catalog management functionality for an ordering platform or similar product
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and executive management
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform product decisions
  • Excellent organizational and collaboration skills
  • Self starter with bias toward delivery and business outcomes
  • Strong decision making and prioritization skills
  • Experience with service oriented architecture models
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban development environments

Responsibilities
  • Team comes above the individual. We believe wholeheartedly the fastest path to success is to build together. This looks like clear, consistent, and collaborative communication and being there for all our teammates (immediate and more broadly)
  • Doing right > being right. As a steward of a development team, you can drive prioritization consensus across business teams and serve as an effective liaison between business stakeholders and engineering. This means balancing lots of needs, sifting through business requirements, and landing on decisions that are not always unanimous. As the product owner, you take ownership of getting decisions to help move forward
  • Freedom with accountability excites you. Having a short list of defined goals, you thrive in the autonomy of figuring out how to get there. You work closely with the engineering and design organizations from concept design, development, testing, release, and maintenance of experiences to ensure quality and successful delivery and obsessively measure things to see how it performed so you and the team can learn and keep doing better
  • Data-informed bets are how you like to roll. Data being your friend, you like to have objective facts that help to inform decisions. But having perfect knowledge of outcomes is not possible, so you know when instinct and bets have their place, and how to make tradeoffs and decisions in the gray area
  • You love learning from users. The role of user research and feedback is hugely important to you, and you seek out their insights to center decisions and approaches around
  • Exploring new ways to make technology work for healthcare inspires you. Healthcare is unlike other industries, and it comes with a tremendous opportunity for impact as well as a lot of unseen speed bumps. Navigating complexity, regulatory and otherwise, requires optimism, creativity and perseverance
  • Lead the product development team in the design and delivery of a world-class ordering platform by executing with excellence with your team
  • Defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the ordering platform in collaboration with stakeholders across the company including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure success of the product
  • Be a champion and advocate for user needs and problems and support a development team to narrow down the possible solutions, execute against committed plans, and measure how it performs
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in the ordering platform and leading the team in implementing these changes
  • Be the ambassador for the Ordering platform by sharing product knowledge, vision, and absorbing insights from all angles to synthesize, rationalize, and socialize into product plans
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus
  • Proven track record of delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment
  • Domain knowledge in healthcare technology, clinical decision support software, medical genetics and/or other diagnostics
