Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accounting function.
  • Experience and/or understanding of revenue recognition methods under ASC 606; knowledge of Long-Term Service Agreements a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting processes and calculating revenue is key.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting, business administration, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and self-motivation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter that can work with cross functional business partners to drive change.
  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s accounting policy and its implementation according to the latest GAAP requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge and skill with Microsoft Excel and the ability to automate tasks.
Responsibilities
  • Be a strong business partner to the Services business throughout the monthly cycle and prepare and review revenue recognition files for month end close.
  • Provide timely accounting, reporting, and system guidance to support the Services business through operational changes and strategic projects.
  • Calculate and maintain the monthly Assurance Warranty analysis.
  • Ensure SOX controls are executed timely and accurately.
  • Collaborate with Services Finance team to ensure proper accounting for project costs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely business transaction recording in the ERP system.
  • Maintain general ledger and related general accounting processes and account reconciliations.
  • Develop and participate in process improvement projects.
