Requirements
  • Masters’ Degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or related engineering field
  • Five (5) years of experience as a manufacturing engineer, process improvement engineer or related occupation for medical devices
  • At least five (5) years’ experience with Strategic plan development and execution
  • At least five (5) years’ experience with Lean Six Sigma
  • At least five (5) years’ experience with Quality System Process, Project Mgmt., Automation, and regulatory audit support
  • At least five (5) years’ experience with FDA QSR, ISO 13485
  • At least five (5) years’ experience with Risk mgmt., validation, and methodical problem solving
  • At least five (5) years’ experience with Implementing process improvement, CAPA, and insourcing and outsourcing
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Minitab
  • Lean Sigma Black belt certified
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, deploy, and implement Lean and Continuous Improvement throughout the business
  • Initiate deployment activities to ensure improvement actions are linked to strategic and tactical objectives
  • Diagram and evaluate existing processes while developing metrics for process measurement
  • Provide strategic plan development and execution
  • Coordinate Lean and Six Sigma projects, programs, and transformational activities
  • Plan, perform, implement on process improvement initiatives
  • Be a certified Green Belt and Black Belt trainer
  • Responsible for cell conversions and lean transformation
  • Leverage capability statistical analysis for process improvement using Minitab software
  • Leverage Quality System Process, Continuous Improvement, Project Mgmt., Automation, and regulatory audit support
  • Navigate the complexity of industry and government regulations to include FDA QSR (Quality System Regulation), ISO13485
  • Responsible for Risk mgmt., validation, and methodical problem solving
  • Coordinate process improvement, preventive and corrective actions (CAPA), automation, and insourcing and outsourcing
  • Create and deploy Clean Room layout optimization using AutoCAD software
