Position Summary
The laboratory of Dr. Linghua Zheng is focused on immuno-oncology and autoimmunity. The goal is to improve our understanding of how the immune system fights cancer at the molecular and cellular levels.
The Zheng Lab is seeking a Research Senior Technician to provide technical and research support for ongoing projects. The successful candidate will contribute to both day-to-day laboratory operations and research activities that advance the lab’s mission.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily laboratory operations, including reagent ordering, animal colony management, and preparation of buffers/reagents.
- Conduct research experiments and projects under the supervision of the PI.
- Assist the PI with grant preparation and support senior postdoctoral researchers in ongoing projects.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments and laboratory protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in biological or health sciences, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
- Prior research experience in biological or health sciences preferred.
- Ability to apply academic and/or practical knowledge in the conduct of laboratory-based research required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.

- Successful completion of a background check is required.
- Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
