Bachelors with 10+ years of relevant industry experience, or Masters with 8+ years or PhD with 5+ years in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred
10+ years of hands-on validation experience in wireless and telecoms industry with focus in cellular technologies
Deep knowledge Cellular Radio technologies, protocols and procedures (5G NR, LTE, etc.)
Good working experience with commercial test simulators and test systems such as: Anritsu, RS, Keysight call boxes for lab validation
Scripting skills in any of the following: Perl, Python, Shell, JavaScript
Comfortable with solving problems/debugging/reproducing issues
Validated understanding of SQA methodologies & practices
Validated ability to lead a complete functional area of an application or product

What You’ll Do

Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. in San Jose is looking for an experienced engineer to join the team responsible to commercialize the world-class Exynos SoC software for next generation mobile and computer platforms.

The ideal candidate should have a clear passion in building high standard Samsung SoC based software and hardware products.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.

Create and design application and software testing processes.
Monitor system and software functionality.
Automated testing and problem-solving of various tasks that work towards a development process.
Establish and implement rigorous reporting and automated monitoring systems.
Advise best practices and optimizations throughout testing and bug-fixing processes.
Work closely with geographically dispersed hardware and system development teams to resolve North America customer issues found in lab/field/IOT/carrier test.

What You Bring

Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well.

$108,000—$218,300 USD
