The Production Control Specialist job family is responsible for supporting operations and maintenance activities associated with plant production. The Specialist will be directly responsible for planning and scheduling activities associated with commissioning and operations of the facility.
This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCC.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS
Perform schedule development for assigned scope:
Lead integrated, multi-discipline teams to identify activities necessary to complete the assigned scope of work, including durations and logic sequences. Note that ensuring accurate resource loading could also be required.
Ensure definitized scope of work is properly integrated into the overall schedule.
Identify problems in the schedule and take action to resolve.
Coordinate with all departments to ensure timely and acceptable activity status and updates.
Facilitate resolution when problems emerge, or work performance does not meet schedule expectations.
Support schedule quality analysis and resolution of identified issues.
Recommend and lead development of alternatives for schedule improvement to mitigate adverse impacts or to accelerate work scope.
Understand and utilize schedule driving path analysis methods, purposes, and results.
Understand system design and operation, including environmental, safety, and health aspects and regulatory conformance sufficiently to coordinate work planning, scheduling, and related functions.
Support implementation of project wide initiatives affecting plant operations personnel and resources.
Perform activities and meet the goals and objectives established by the plant management organization.
Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.
Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect self, others, and the environment.

REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a technical, administration, or management field and 4 years of experience in project management, scheduling, planning, or related field. Experience with scheduling software and principles is required. Experience with Primavera scheduling software, system health management, and/or prior knowledge of computer maintenance management systems preferred.

Associate’s degree in a technical, administration, or management field and 6 years of experience in project management, scheduling, planning, or related field. Experience with scheduling software and principles is required. Experience with Primavera scheduling software, system health management, and/or prior knowledge of computer maintenance management systems preferred.
OR
High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of experience in project management, scheduling, planning, or related field. Experience with scheduling software and principles is required. Experience with Primavera scheduling software, system health management, and/or prior knowledge of computer maintenance management systems preferred.
Additional Education Preferred: Have or actively pursuing Project Management Professional certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
(EFNM) Exposed Field Non-Manual- Performs desk work, including writing, computer workstation processes, and telephone operation. Arranges for and/or performs presentations, oral reports, planning meetings, and other formal and informal contacts, requiring long periods of sitting. Oversees field activities through inspections, testing and equipment operations, which requires walking, standing, bending, and turning along with wearing of personal protective equipment. Occasional loading, transport, and unloading of tools and/or supplies specific to an activity.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $99,193.03 - $154,255.09 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)

This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
