  • Graduated from relevant engineering departments of universities, preferably Industrial Engineering
  • 10 years of experience in production operations and 3 years of experience in OPEX
  • Speaking English (Advanced) Fluently

Responsibilities
  • Leading the tasks assigned by the OPEX Global leader to ensure that lean manufacturing tools are used and supporting a lean manufacturing culture at the plant
  • Drive Kaizen/Cost out Initiatives Including cycle time & Throughput time along with Cross functional team
  • Head the kaizen committee, which includes representatives from all the functions like, Engineering, Production, HR, SCM, Projects
  • Conduct Kaizen workshops with operations and other functions
  • Continuously analyze the Operational cost data and identify cost out opportunities with the help of finance
  • Conduct Lean Training
  • Performs all Procedures, Protocols, Instructions, Standards and Plans set out by the TPI within the framework of the company's integrated policies
  • Acts in accordance with the 'Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics' and 'TPI Management Principles and Ethical Decision Making System'
  • Follows, implements and ensures the compliance of instructions, procedures and notifications on health, safety, environment and security
  • Ensures corrective and preventive measures at his/her unit when necessary
  • Recommending the OPEX Global Management lean tools to be used according to the lean level determined by Opex Global Management
  • Ensures that the department works are conducted in compliance with the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Management Systems
  • Attends risk management activities and informs his/her manager on possible elements of risk
  • Plans annual use of the determined tools in production, controls the compliance of the tools to be used with local practices, and provides feedback to the OPEX Global Management when necessary
  • Leads the use of lean tools in manufacturing (5S, team boards, proposal system, 8 waste)
  • Uses visual management tools in manufacturing
  • Coordinates 6 Sigma trainings, supports the projects, coaches them
  • Reports weekly activities to TPI India management and Global Opex Manager
  • Creates CAPEX for OPEX projects and practices
  • Works to solve the problems and improve communication within the team and with other departments
  • Periodically follows up department KPIs
  • Responsible for the implementation and improvement of the 5S cleanliness and tidiness system in his/her areas of responsibility
  • Holds the authority to approve the administrative procedures (Off Days, Diseases, etc.) of the personnel directly affiliated with him/her and plan the off days of all affiliated personnel
  • Evaluates the performance of their direct reports according to the Performance Development System and conducts interviews

It produces independent wind blades with a global network of facilities in the US, Mexico, Turkey, and India, serving major wind turbine OEMs under long-term supply agreements, and also fabricates composite components for transportation, including parts for passenger and commercial electric vehicles.
