Responsibilities
  • Audio: Coordinates all duties associated with audio for the broadcasting of live sporting events to include set up of all audio equipment, testing, monitoring and trouble shooting.
  • Camera Operator: Operates a broadcast-quality HD digital camera for broadcasting of live sporting events.
  • Camera Shader: Turns on and adjusts the cameras for proper grey scale, color temperature and ensures that all cameras match in color rendition and exposure for the broadcasting of live sporting events.
  • Director: Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in preparation of television or internet broadcast of live sporting events.
  • Engineer in Charge: Coordinates and plans the installation, maintenance, and operation of broadcast television equipment and facilities for live sporting events.
  • Replay Operator: Operates a digital slo-mo replay system for broadcasting of live sporting events.
  • Stage Manager: Assists on-air talent and coordinates with the producer and director in cueing responsibilities during live events for television broadcasting.
  • Utility: Coordinates all utilities for the production of live sporting events to include pulling cable, operating parabolic microphones, set up and strike of cabling and parabolic microphones, and assisting camera operator in set up and strike.
