The Insurance \Agency Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding independent insurance agencies to expand the company’s distribution network. This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance industry, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to achieve recruitment goals.
What You Will Do As A Insurance Agency Sourcing Specialist
- Develop and execute a strategic recruitment plan to identify and target potential agency partners.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective agencies.
- Conduct in-depth research on potential agencies to assess their suitability for the company.
- Develop compelling value propositions to attract new agency partners.
- Negotiate and finalize agency contracts.
- Attend relevant conferences and insurance-related events as needed.
- Onboard new agencies, providing necessary training and support.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key agency partners.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics and KPIs.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activities.
What You Will Bring As A Insurance Agency Sourcing Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- 10+ years’ experience in Sales, business development or related field.
- 7+ years’ experience in Insurance preferred.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or recruiting.
- Strong understanding of the insurance industry and distribution channels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales tools.
- Examples of identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities to impact results.
- Evidence of achieving results within ambiguous environments.
- Shows multiple examples of achieving results/showing significant progress in changing environments.
- Experience in the insurance industry, preferably with an insurance carrier.
- Knowledge of agency management systems and insurance software.
- Understanding of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Active Property & Casualty License Preferred.

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member
Pay Range*: $132,000.00 - $176,000.00 Annually
*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.
Additionally, you will be eligible to receive long-term incentive awards, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
You will also be eligible to receive sales incentives, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
