Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large data sets
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience demonstrating the ability to perform the above responsibilities
  • Prior experience in a people management role
  • 2+ years experience with Integrations and ETL
  • Adeptness at writing actionable bug reports using software such as Confluence and Jira
  • Experience working with clients at all organizational levels with a high degree of professionalism and business acumen.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee a team of Data Solutions Engineers throughout their career journey, including recruitment, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Develop solutions using programming skills primarily around complex SQL queries and database schema investigation
  • Identify, debug and resolve errors, provide support, and develop procedures to navigate complex system overlaps.
  • Have a deep understanding of the entire application lifecycle, web services and related databases
  • To proactively drive quality through code reviews, best practice enforcement and coaching
  • The job is a mix of managing a team and implementation development.
  • Identify early signs of project and customer risks, develop suitable risk response strategies, and visit customer sites to maintain relationships and project progress.
  • Conduct portfolio forecasting, monitor budget health and project delivery, collaborate with leadership to ensure team skills meet business needs, and analyze trends impacting project efficiency.
  • Schedule projects, plan resources, manage impacts on staffing, utilize metrics, and report effectively.
  • Work with customers during all phases of a project from pre-sales to post go-live support.
  • Ability to obtain a solid understanding of product requirements and customer problems.
  • Maintain a utilization target on each project, for yourself as well as your team, to help ensure a successful and consistent project deployment.
  • Assist clients with developing and executing testing plans and procedures.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to customers on best practices and use cases to support a variety of business needs.
