The role
We are looking for a Contract Recruiter (6 months) to support our EPDS team (Engineering, Product, and Design) through the next few months of a hiring push. This role will focus on cultivating strong partnerships across our several leaders to find, attract, and retain the very best talent. You will help drive alignment and talent strategy, working with leaders and stakeholders across the business, to ensure we continue building the foundational teams that allow Watershed to succeed. The people at Watershed will ultimately determine our success and this role will directly impact our ability to deliver on our vision.
We value an exceptional eye for talent, the ability to share a vision that is both mission & business driven, a strong grasp of recruiting data, and a passion for building high-performing teams. You should be someone who embeds themselves with teams and is a strong consultative recruiter that holds the candidate experience sacred. We move fast and change is constant, but the day to day tasks will include stakeholder management, candidate sourcing, full-cycle recruiting, and project-based work to help scale the talent function.
This role is a 6 month contract based in San Francisco.
FAQ
Where does Watershed work?
We have hub offices in San Francisco, New York and London, and some remote team members in the US and EU. Most of our jobs need to be in San Francisco / New York / London, but certain jobs are open to being remote and will be specifically noted on the jobs page and in the job description.
What’s the interview process like?
It starts the same for every candidate: getting to know the team members through 1 to 2 conversations about Watershed, your experience, and your interests. Next steps can vary by role, but usual next steps are a skill or experience screen (e.g. a coding interview for an engineer, a portfolio review for a designer, deeper experience call for other roles) which leads to a virtual or in person interview panel after that if the screens go well. We prioritize transparency and lack of surprise throughout the process.
