We’re looking for a Corporate Development Intern (Technical) to support Electric Hydrogen on our path to rapid industrial scale decarbonization. You will work within the Corporate Development, Product and Engineering teams to support strategic transactions, and long-term planning. You will plan medium-term product and engineering roadmaps based on market outlook for green hydrogen, and supporting the Corporate Development team’s broader projects.You will work in-person at our Natick, MA site, alongside the Corporate Development team and report to the Senior Corporate Development Associate. Occasional travel to our San Carlos and San Jose facilities might be needed.
You have some experience in energy engineering, market research in cleantech, understand thermodynamics and heat/mass balance at a fundamental level. You have prepared research presentations, and analyzed valuation of companies or investment opportunities.
Role and Responsibilities
- Analyze market and valuation trends across industries to inform the Corporate Development team’s market outlook and comparable companies
- Research and provide concise analysis of main projects in the hydrogen market from a technical lens
- Understand the technical aspects of the product and work with engineering & design teams
- Develop and distribute weekly communications to EH2 team about recent market developments, current events, and commodity and stock price developments.
Qualifications
- Pursuing Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering or related field
- Basic MSFT Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Techno-economic modeling skills
Compensation and Benefits | I5 | $1,500 transportation stipend will be provided or $3,000 relocation stipend (depending on location)

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.
