Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (or a related field) with 8+ years of progressive professional experience in Human Resources – OR – Master’s degree in Human Resources (or a related field) with 6+ years of progressive professional experience in Human Resources.
  • Demonstrated success in the application of HR principles, concepts, policies, and practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, implement and close multiple complex projects simultaneously on various HR work streams and meet schedule and commitments.
  • Proven track record building collaborative partnerships as the basis for being able to influence direction and driving change; keen ability to influence, coach, and consult with senior executive management.
  • Strong consulting skills; ability to analyze data to define the root cause, designing practical, creative and/or innovative solutions, and ensuring solutions are effectively implemented.
  • Experience in project management, prioritization, continuous improvement and process improvement thought process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Establishing a solid understanding of the business, building and expanding relationships with program leadership teams, and creating close partnerships across HR centers of excellence (COE's).
  • Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within the organization and developing solutions in partnership with staff and key stakeholders.
  • Providing business insight through data analytics, researching and benchmarking to inform and recommend solutions to enable business growth.
  • Leading all HR team projects - ensuring accountability and completion.
  • Playing a key change leadership role in the company's transformation by reinforcing a culture of growth and innovation.
  • Partnering with key leaders to ensure a cohesive and engaging onboarding experience and leadership training framework. Focused on comprehensive succession planning and strategic leadership movement.
  • Partnering with business leaders to build leadership depth to support the development and succession planning process.
  • Serving as manager of coordinator and site lead to other Divisions in Colorado Springs and Boulder locations.
  • Representing the HR function with the leadership team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Aerospace & Defense and/or government contracting.
  • Experience leading a team as a Human Resources Manager responsible for multiple HR disciplines.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and technology (Workday, Confluence, SharePoint).
  • PHR (SHRM-CP) or SPHR (SHRM – SCP) certification.
  • Experience in a matrix organization with a large customer group (500-1000).
