Requirements
  • At least 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including meaningful experience at high-growth startups from Seed through Series B/C.
  • A proven track record of hiring across functions, including senior engineers, go-to-market leaders, and customer success hires.
  • Experience building, or strong interest in building, a talent function from scratch without an existing playbook.
  • Exceptional sourcing ability to find and engage passive talent without relying on agencies or inbound applicants.
  • Ability to close candidates, understand candidate psychology, navigate competing offers, and land top-of-market hires.
  • An AI-first approach to streamlining sourcing, outreach, screening, and recruiting operations, with active experimentation using new tools and workflows.
  • Strong judgment on talent and the ability to calibrate hiring standards quickly to hiring-manager needs.
  • Ability to operate with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and direct founder feedback.
  • A bias toward speed without compromising hiring quality.
Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end hiring across engineering, product, sales, customer success, growth, operations, and leadership roles.
  • Build the talent function from the ground up, including applicant tracking system setup, sourcing infrastructure, interview rubrics, scorecards, calibration processes, and reporting.
  • Run full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, outreach, screening, coordination, and closing, until hiring volume justifies building a team.
  • Partner directly with the founder and hiring managers to define role profiles, calibrate hiring standards, and move quickly without sacrificing quality.
  • Build a proactive sourcing engine using outbound recruiting, referrals, communities, and creative channels.
  • Own the candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance.
  • Develop and refine the employer brand and hiring narrative as the company scales.
  • Use artificial intelligence across sourcing, screening, outreach personalization, scheduling, and pipeline analytics.
  • Establish data-driven hiring practices using pipeline health, conversion rates, time-to-hire, source-of-hire, and quality-of-hire benchmarks.
  • Lay the foundation for a future talent team through systems, processes, and standards that support significant hiring scale.

LTV.ai is an AI-driven marketing platform for ecommerce that delivers personalized, conversational email and SMS campaigns, with a focus on post-purchase optimization to boost customer lifetime value. The platform connects with ecommerce systems like Shopify and BigCommerce to analyze customer data such as purchase history, location, and browsing behavior, and then generates hyper-personalized, two-way messages that can upsell, improve product recommendations, and manage loyalty programs. It emphasizes one-to-one, adaptive conversations and proactive AI-driven segmentation to identify high-value customers and churn risk. LTV.ai operates on a revenue-share model, aligning fees with the incremental revenue it helps clients generate. Its goal is to help ecommerce brands increase CLTV by delivering more effective post-purchase engagement and loyalty, a strategy backed by a Series A round of $5.2 million to expand engineering, infrastructure, and market reach.

The company, originally known as ShopToken, pivoted in February 2024 to focus on AI-driven personalized marketing messages.
