Requirements
  • A Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related role, or a Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
  • Experience reviewing underwriting documentation and financial statements to interpret complex asset-servicing events and understand their impact on operational teams across urban development, direct lending, or real estate investments.
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting credit agreements; identifying and capturing loan covenant structures, including quarterly and annual financial statements, compliance certificates, and financial testing ratios such as debt service coverage, interest coverage, and leverage ratios; building delivery schedules in an operations system; and monitoring ongoing investment performance.
  • Experience with the full loan lifecycle and associated end-to-end operational requirements of lending agreements through maturity, including amendments to agreements.
  • Experience identifying financial risks, interpreting the impact of asset-servicing events on creditworthiness, and understanding Loan Review Committee or amendment-approval processes.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify process-improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency and strengthen operational controls.
Responsibilities
  • Accurately and timely comprehend and manage voluntary and mandatory asset-servicing events, including restructurings, loan repricings, and bankruptcies, and their impact on Operations and the business.
  • Accurately and timely comprehend and manage covenant and financial-reporting requirements in lender and borrower capacities as determined by investment-agreement legal documents.
  • Manage daily events, resolve issues, and conduct process-improvement initiatives using subject-matter expertise and organizational skills.
  • Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders in Operations, Credit Facility Management, Credit Risk, Deal Teams, and other divisions as needed.
  • Build and manage relationships with external clients, agents, and companies.
  • Mitigate material nonpublic information risk by maintaining accurate communications with compliance teams and the business.
  • Work with global Operations business units to assess and streamline processes, mitigate risk or control issues, and generate efficiencies.
  • Identify and timely escalate open risk to team management daily.

ByteDance's $20B loan attracts $30B in orders to fund AI expansion

ByteDance has attracted over $30 billion in orders for a $20 billion offshore syndicated loan, representing 1.5 times oversubscription. The three-year facility, extendable to five years, marks the TikTok parent company's largest syndicated loan to date. This continues ByteDance's pattern of scaling up its borrowing. The company debuted in the syndicated loan market in 2019 with $1.335 billion and closed a $10.8 billion facility in 2024. Flexential secures $800M to develop 130+ MW of data centre capacity across four US markets

Flexential has secured an $800 million credit facility to fund data centre development across four US markets. The financing will support more than 130 MW of new capacity, including facilities under construction in Atlanta-Douglasville (36 MW), Portland-Hillsboro (36 MW), and Denver-Parker (22.5 MW). The facility was oversubscribed and increased 60% from an initial $500 million target. It is backed by an 11-bank syndicate, with TD Securities as administrative agent. The funding complements equity investment from Flexential's sponsors, GI Partners and MSIP. CEO Ryan Mallory said the financing enables the company to invest ahead of enterprise and AI-driven infrastructure demand. Flexential operates 40 data centres across 18 markets in the US.
