Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Packaging Engineering, or other relevant fields.
  • 1+ year of experience in supply chain analysis, packaging engineering, or sourcing within a food manufacturing or CPG enterprise.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Tableau; knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to engage and challenge team members and partners.
Responsibilities
  • Support the packaging organization’s strategy through market evaluation, supplier fit assessment, and risk analysis.
  • Foster collaboration within the packaging team and with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Assist in establishing and measuring KPIs to track performance targets.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels through effective inventory planning and vendor management.
  • Provide analytical support and technical insights for packaging solutions to achieve cost savings, efficiency improvements, and safety enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Process Engineering, Food Safety, and Suppliers to manage projects effectively.
  • Assist in initiatives for sustainable packaging solutions.
  • Assist in the execution of the Strategic Sourcing process, including market research, contract review, RFQ generation, negotiation, and presentation of recommendations to Senior Leadership.
  • Support the Supplier Relationship Management program, including goal setting, quarterly Business Review Meetings with suppliers, and regular performance management.
  • Apply financial acumen to help manage annual spend, track spend and cost savings, and scenario plan.
  • Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels in the warehouse through effective inventory planning, inventory replenishment, and vendor management to ensure optimal delivery performance.
