Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience as a full stack web developer with overall programming experience
  • Has lead technical solutioning and architecture for new marketing initiatives, mapping business requirements to robust, scalable, and elegant web solutions on our platform
  • A portfolio of demonstrated success in XFN collaboration across marketing, engineering, product, growth, and more.
  • Experience with React is required (bonus points for Next.js)
  • Enterprise level CMS experience required, bonus point for Contentful
  • Expertise in developing web applications with React, Hooks, and TypeScript
  • Familiarity with server-side development frameworks and concepts (along with a desire to learn!)
  • Knowledge of the server-side JavaScript ecosystem (i.e. Node.js)
  • Experienced in writing unit tests using JEST framework or any similar framework
  • Familiar with modern front-end build pipelines and tools like Webpack, NPM etc.
  • Experience with GraphQL, CSS and familiar with preprocessors
  • Expertise with browser APIs and enhancing front end performance
  • Familiarity of modern software development techniques such as continuous integration & distributed version control
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement highly receptive web-based user interface
  • Develop the latest user-facing features using React.js
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries on Contentful
  • Serve as a strategic technical partner across the company, actively contributing to and providing solutions that balance creative vision with technical feasibility to achieve business goals like site speed, SEO and conversion rate optimization.
  • Enhance components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Champion web development best practices across the organization, mentoring colleagues and empowering the broader team to understand the "why" behind technical decisions
  • Collaborate with back-end and API developers to enhance the user experience
  • Write tests for new and existing features to improve overall test coverage
  • Architect and build the Next application framework so we can use custom as well as out of the box component on Contentful
  • Translate complex technical concepts into understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders, ensuring marketing and product teams are aligned on project scope, capabilities, and timelines.
