  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of experience in fund accounting and/or overseeing a fund administrator
  • 1-2 years of audit experience in public accounting
  • Experience working within asset management, ideally Venture Capital or Private Equity
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Exposure working with US GAAP and ASC 820 Valuations
  • Hybrid work arrangement in the Los Angeles office, or onsite four days per week in the San Francisco office
  • This role can be based in either Los Angeles or San Francisco
Responsibilities
  • Key member of lean internal finance team helping oversee multiple funds across a variety of sectors, geographies, and strategies
  • Collaborates with internal and external accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Actively leverage AI tools (e.g. Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve personal productivity — including drafting LP communications, summarizing financial data, automating repetitive reporting tasks, and accelerating research
  • Identify opportunities within the finance function to streamline workflows using AI-assisted automation, and champion adoption across the team
  • Reconcile and manage various Funds, SPVs, and Holdco entities
  • Liaise with fund administrator for investments, capital calls, distributions, management fee calculations, and quarterly financial statement reporting
  • Work with internal and external teams to manage the quarterly valuation process across multiple entities
  • Maintain line of credit, including borrowings, paydowns, interest accruals, and compliance requirements
  • Assist with global portfolio reporting. Includes working with internal investment and platform team members, external portfolio companies, and overseeing a global portfolio reporting tech platform
  • Supports development of internal financial controls and their implementation
  • Assist in new fund launches including onboarding service providers, opening bank accounts, and coordinating with internal and external legal counsel on entity formation and fund documents
  • Assist with annual audit and tax process
  • Respond to quarterly and ad-hoc investor information requests and coordinate with other business units (investor relations, investment team, business development, etc.) as necessary to complete requests
  • Assist with additional ad hoc projects as needed
Desired Qualifications
  • Growth mindset toward emerging technology — willingness to experiment with new tools, share learnings with the team, and continuously evolve how work gets done
  • Demonstrated curiosity and comfort with AI productivity tools; experience using LLMs or AI assistants to accelerate financial analysis, reporting, or communication is a plus
  • Modelling & quantitative analysis experience (Excel) a plus
  • CPA or CFA a plus

Knox Systems raises $25M Series A to deliver 90-day FedRAMP at 90% lower cost

Knox Systems, a federal AI-managed cloud provider, has raised $25 million in a Series A round led by B Capital, with participation from M12, Okta Ventures, MongoDB Ventures and Hearst Ventures. The funding comes nine months after a $6.5 million seed round led by Felicis. Knox enables SaaS companies to achieve FedRAMP authorisation in 90 days at 90% lower cost than traditional methods, which typically cost $2-5 million upfront. The company operates the largest multi-cloud federal boundary across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, holding authorisations to operate across 15 federal agencies including the Department of Health and Human Services and Department of Homeland Security. The funding will help Knox expand federal authorisation capacity whilst positioning itself for commercial adoption, serving clients including Adobe, Celonis and OutSystems.

Oro Labs raises $100M to automate corporate procurement with AI agents

Oro Labs, a Silicon Valley startup using AI to automate corporate procurement processes, has raised $100 million in a Series C round led by Goldman Sachs Growth Equity and Brighton Park Capital. The funding brings total capital raised to $160 million, though the company declined to disclose its valuation. The five-year-old company has built a "procurement orchestration platform" that uses AI agents to route requests, check compliance and automate manual processes atop existing enterprise systems. Customers include 15 of the top 25 life sciences companies, Coca-Cola, Pfizer and Novartis. Oro reported 300% revenue growth last year and expects to triple revenue again this year. The company helped one pharmaceutical client reduce supplier onboarding time from over 30 days to under 10 days.

EV startup Bounce raises $4.3M from Accel and B Capital, eyes $1.2M more

EV startup Bounce has raised ₹36 crore ($3.9 million) in a Series F round led by existing investors Accel and B Capital. CEO Vivekananda Hallekere said the company plans to raise an additional ₹10 crore from another existing investor, bringing the total round size to ₹46 crore (about $5 million). Founded in 2014, Bounce initially operated as a bike rental platform before acquiring 22Motors in 2021 to enter escooter manufacturing. The company is now shifting focus to scaling infrastructure for India's gig economy, particularly its B2B EV rental ecosystem for last-mile delivery. Bounce has raised over $200 million to date. In 2024, it signed a $45 million deal with Sun Mobility to deploy 30,000 escooters across major Indian cities.
