Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field
  • 1+ year of experience in commercial construction
  • Willingness to travel as needed to execute projects
Responsibilities
  • Develop a working understanding of budgets, schedules, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders and other management tools
  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents with various project related tasks
  • Help generate Requests for Information (RFIs) and track approvals
  • Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and shop drawing coordination
  • Assume responsibility and communicate effectively with all internal and external customers
  • May have more involvement in entire job cycle on selected projects under supervision
Desired Qualifications
  • Have general knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing
  • Read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems
  • Experience in Construction Management Software (i.e. Procore)
  • Design-build commercial construction experience
