Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Proven track record of building novel brands from zero awareness to a household name in the food or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
  • Deep understanding of brand management, product marketing, and digital marketing channels.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across the organization.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and driving growth in a dynamic start-up environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of brand positioning, messaging, and creative campaigns to ensure Meati’s brand is accurately and powerfully reflected across the entire customer journey (on and offline)
  • Develop, drive and execute the overall marketing strategy in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Partner with the Sales team to develop disruptive in-store activation and programming to increase Meati’s visibility and conversion.
  • Collaborate across sales, product innovation, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and cohesion across marketing efforts.
  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including website optimization, social media strategy, content marketing, and online advertising.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics and insights, identify market trends, opportunities, and threats to develop strategy and campaign initiatives to optimize performance
  • Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize marketing spend to maximize ROI.
  • Build out the organization and execute plans through a balance of in-house resources and vendor partners.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media partners, influencers, and industry organizations.

Meati Foods offers a line of cutlets and steaks made from nutrient-rich mushroom root, providing a sustainable and nutritious alternative to meat. The product is cultivated using modernized natural processes, with plans for a national omni-channel footprint by late 2023.
