Why this role?
We are seeking a Senior Product Operations Lead to join our team! This individual will be the first Product Ops hire and play a critical role in developing a world class product organization. Your key responsibilities will include developing processes to improve communication within and outside of the Product org, leading quarterly roadmap planning, and managing product intelligence tooling. The role will be dynamic and cross-functional and it will involve strategy, inter-team collaboration, analytical thinking, and a passion to roll up your sleeves and build.
As a Senior Product Operations Lead, you will:
- Develop and lead quarterly product roadmap planning processes, working closely with Product Managers and Product Leadership.
- Implement practices and processes for enhancing cross-org communication – ensuring that: the Product organization is the conduit of customer feedback reaching the engineering organization.
- The broader organization – and especially GTM teams – are educated on our product roadmap and product capabilities.
Further develop and manage Cohere’s product intelligence tooling, designed to understand enterprise use cases and Cohere model performance, including:
- Working closely with GTM colleagues to ensure that data is being captured
- Sourcing data where necessary by engaging directly with enterprises
- Collaborate with Data and Evaluation teams on utilizing data collected in the intelligence tooling
- Analyzing and educating GTM teams on the outputs
- Contribute to creating a high performing, well-communicating, and happy Product team
You may be a good fit if you have:
- 5-9 years of relevant professional experience as a Product Manager or in Product Ops – time spent in management consulting prior to working in product will be seen as a benefit (and can contribute to total # of years).
- A comfort working within ambiguous environments and a desire to roll up your sleeves.
- Worked at a fast growing start up, ideally from an early stage.
- Developed and managed analytical systems.
- Led product planning processes.
- An understanding of how to create processes and systems that enable faster action, rather than bureaucracy.
- Experience working with large language models would be a bonus!
If some of the above doesn’t line up perfectly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply! If you consider yourself a thoughtful worker, a lifelong learner, and a kind and playful team member, Cohere is the place for you.
We value and celebrate diversity and strive to create an inclusive work environment for all. We welcome applicants of all kinds and are committed to providing an equal opportunity process.
