Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T and other drawing standards.
  • Experience with SolidWorks desired.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
  • Perform tolerance analysis on complex mechanical assemblies and create mechanical drawings.
  • Help to create and manage Bills of Material (BOMs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
  • Be an active contributor to the “NPI” New Product Introduction team.
  • Utilize CAD to update drawings and facilitate a rapid turnaround of detailed prints.
  • Apply your Engineering Skills in the design of and recommend fixtures, tools, and processes.
  • Uses mechanical components, standards, and mechanical best practices.
  • Ability to assemble mechanical fixturing, utilize hand tools, machine tools.
  • Ability to properly use calipers, micrometers, scales, and other measuring equipment.
  • Prototyping and Machining Experience (Vertical Mill, Drill Press, Rapid Prototype, Lathe, etc.) a plus.
