Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or equivalent experience in Cell biology, Immunology, Immuno-oncology, or Molecular Biology
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience working in research operations, preferably in pharma or biotech, OR a Master's degree with 3+ years relevant research experience
  • Experience with immune and cancer cell culture and aseptic technique is required
  • Experience with isolating and culturing primary immune cells for cell-based assays (T cell stimulation, proliferation, phenotyping, ELISA, cytotoxicity assay etc.)
  • Experience with multiparametric flow cytometry
  • Exceptional attention to detail and impeccable record-keeping skills
  • Effectively work and communicate with group members and other groups in a dynamic and fast paced environment in order to accomplish goals

Responsibilities
  • Work independently on routine processes and optimization with minimal oversight for related projects
  • Design and execute experiments with general guidance or following established protocols
  • Use flow cytometric assays to characterize the specificity and potency of T cell receptors, and assess their potential utility as anti-tumor (or alternative disease) therapies
  • Isolate and culture human primary immune cells and tumor cell lines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and impeccable record-keeping skills
  • Analyze and report data to senior staff both informally and through formal reports and presentations
  • Effectively work and communicate with group members and other groups in a dynamic and fast paced environment in order to accomplish goals
  • Maintain laboratory instruments, reagents, and other routine laboratory tasks as needed
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in molecular biology (phage panning and screening with ELISA, lenti and retro virus transduction, DNA/RNA purification and PCR) is a plus
  • Background knowledge of immunology, T cells, and TCRs is a plus
  • Familiarity with BSL-2 protocols and best-practices is a plus
