Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience with industrial security programs within the Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Experience implementing multiple security disciplines to include Personnel, Physical, and Operations Security programs and requirements
  • Knowledge of DoD security requirements and the National Industrial Security Program (NISP)
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Security Information Management System (SIMS)
  • Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
Responsibilities
  • Oversee classified security programs and provide expertise in all security functions in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other applicable security regulations and requirements
  • Investigate, document, and report security incidents and ensure cleanup and corrective actions are implemented
  • Provide personnel security (PERSEC) support to include but not limited to review and submit clearance/access information using DISS and other information systems; maintain PERSEC databases in accordance with tracking requirements; maintain and operate document control register/database; process and manage incoming and outgoing visit authorizations and visitor control
  • Provide facility security support (alarms, access control systems, cameras), documentation, and management support: Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); security self-inspections; manage inventory of accountable holdings in accordance with the policies and procedures; prepare and submit status reports to applicable government agencies; administer and manage classified destruction program; Maintain accountability of classified material
  • Develop, document, and present security education, training, and awareness (SETA) activities
  • Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers on actions(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program
  • Generate and/or review Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) nomination packages; ensure all required information is included including accuracy of information, completeness of forms, and inclusion of required signatures
  • Other duties as assigned
