Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in the insurance industry in one or more of the following:  sales support, marketing support, underwriting, customer service, or sales/account management.
  • Experience with complex accounts.
  • Self-Motivation and Task Management
  • Current state general agent license OR obtain state general agent license within 90 days of starting in the role.
  • Group insurance product knowledge with life and disability.

Responsibilities
  • Developing relationships and coordinating the servicing of mid-size and large accounts (51-1,999) and key brokers.
  • Ensuring continued and increased growth by negotiating renewals or selling products and services to existing customers.
  • Understanding customer needs and providing customer support.
  • Partnering with sales, service and underwriting to effectively sell and retain business.
  • Demonstrating deep knowledge of products as well as service work-flows and underwriting principles.
  • Managing the work delegation of the client team (Account Executive, Account Manager, Marketing Service Representative).
