Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 2 years of engineering experience (for Engineer Mechanical)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 5 years of engineering experience, OR Master’s degree AND 3 years of engineering experience (for Principal Engineer Mechanical)
  • Active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance or a Top Secret clearance
  • Experience in a 3D design tool such as NX, Catia V5, or ProE
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop wiring harness/cable assembly installations into air vehicles for multiple aerospace programs using SAE AS 50881 and proven commercial practices as a guide.
  • Working independently under general supervision and as part of a large multi-disciplined team.
  • Collaborate with inter-departmental vehicle sub-system departments including aircraft structure, equipment installation, hydraulics, environmental control systems, and manufacturing teams.
  • Facilitating design reviews with key stakeholders to ensure designs meet requirements.
  • Attending internal program, customer and/or supplier technical exchange meetings and/or formal program milestone reviews to provide and/or obtain progress status updates.
  • The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.
