Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, with a concentration in Accounting, required
- CPA preferred, CPA eligibility, required
- 5+ years of corporate accounting work experience or 3+ years of public accounting work experience preferred
- Strong accounting and reporting (US GAAP) knowledge; and experience operating within SOX control environment
- Strong understanding of intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and topside adjusting journal entries
- High level of proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems; experience with SAP S/4HANA and Blackline are preferred
- Exposure to consolidations systems such as SAP Group Reporting, Oracle FCCS/HFM, or OneStream a plus
- Highly organized, detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously having time-sensitive deadlines
- Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, independent thinker who will continuously look for ways to improve existing processes
Responsibilities
- Reconcile intercompany transactions throughout the month
- Work cross-functionally to resolve intercompany discrepancies as they arise
- Prepare intercompany journal entries in both Blackline and SAP Group Reporting
- Prepare monthly intercompany balance sheet account reconciliations within Blackline
- Prepare a month-end consolidated intercompany matching schedule
- Ensure that all intercompany balances are properly eliminating in consolidation
- Help coordinate the quarterly intercompany settlement process
- Support the vendor selection process and implementation of a new intercompany matching and reconciliation tool
- Prepare formal documentation of existing and new intercompany processes and procedures
- Continuously monitor best practices and develop process improvements for existing intercompany transactions
- Analyze and document the FX impact of all intercompany transactions
- Provide training and presentations on intercompany processes and procedures as requested
- Support internal and external audit requests
- Assist with the monthly global consolidation process in SAP Group Reporting
- Assist with the preparation of financial reporting packages, including financial statement footnotes and support
- Assist with other internal management reporting and statutory reporting requests
- Work on special projects, as needed
