Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory role

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Responsibilities
  • Staff Management & Development: Supervise and mentor HR staff, providing regular coaching and performance feedback. Conduct training to ensure staff proficiency and adherence to HR policies. Delegate responsibilities to ensure timely and efficient workflow
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, and interviews. Coordinate onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for new hires. Partner with department leaders to assess staffing needs and attract qualified candidates
  • Compliance & Policy Implementation: Ensure HR operations comply with federal, state, and local labor laws. Enforce company policies related to attendance, leave, and benefits. Monitor legal updates and revise policies as needed
  • Benefits & Compensation Administration: Support administration of employee benefits, such as health plans and retirement. Assist with ensuring compensation practices align with industry benchmarks. Address employee questions related to benefits and payroll
  • HR Reporting & Data Management: Generate and analyze HR reports (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, recruitment metrics). Use HR data to recommend operational improvements. Maintain accurate and compliant employee records
  • HR Projects & Strategic Initiatives: Lead or support HR initiatives including engagement programs and DEI efforts. Collaborate with leadership on strategies that align with agency goals. Contribute to ongoing system upgrades and process improvements (e.g., HRIS/ATS)
  • Leave Administration: Oversee all leave processes (FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, disability, military, etc.). Ensure compliance with applicable leave laws and agency procedures. Serve as the primary contact for leave-related questions and documentation. Coordinate return-to-work processes and maintain accurate leave records
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Paycom HRIS and Greenhouse applicant tracking system preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
