Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), ATS, and Microsoft.
  • In-depth knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, FEHA, and related regulations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor HR staff, providing regular coaching and performance feedback.
  • Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, and interviews.
  • Ensure HR operations comply with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Support administration of employee benefits, such as health plans and retirement.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, recruitment metrics).
  • Lead or support HR initiatives including engagement programs and DEI efforts.
  • Oversee all leave processes (FMLA, ADA, workers' comp, disability, military, etc.).
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Paycom) and applicant tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse) preferred.
  • Comfortable adapting to change and leading others through system and process improvements.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and respectful workplace culture.
  • Ability to interpret and apply labor laws, HR policies, and collective bargaining agreements where applicable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
