Requirements
  • Strong proficiency with Unreal Engine, including Blueprint scripting
  • 2+ years of experience as a Technical Designer in AAA game development
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues for game production
  • Exceptional communication, documentation, and organization skills
  • Positive attitude, curious to learn, problem solver, and team player
  • Shipped projects using Unreal or a similar engine
  • Engineering and/or Design background
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of pipelines and tool suites
  • Develop and standardize methodologies for general level design and gameplay encounters
  • Act as the main point of contact for multiple Editor features
  • Assist designers in integrating gameplay content and ensuring playability
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure adherence to budget and technical constraints
  • Develop and maintain technical design and features documentation
  • Evangelize and enforce best practices and guidelines in the engine
  • Prototype game content to define tool needs and test existing ones
  • Identify production needs and assist in creating tools
  • Own pipelines and tools in support of design authoring
