Responsibilities
  • Reimagine the TV experience for YouTube's global audience by transforming traditional TV concepts for today's audience.
  • Analyze patterns (time of day, day of week, user activities) to define new YouTube dayparts and develop UX and Machine Learning (ML) powered recommendations that give users unprecedented control over their TV experience.
  • Partner with teams across YouTube to bring the diverse quality episodic content to YouTube's global audience.
  • Develop initiatives that position creators' shows, podcasts, and courses alongside established programming, giving viewers a selection of premium episodic entertainment.
  • Develop previews and instant on-ramps that eliminate barriers between discovery and playback, ensuring a seamless transition from browsing to watching. Collaborate with marketing in defining a sustainable TV playbook to amplify cultural moments on TV (e.g. Coachella, Olympics, Eurovision, etc).
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 3 years of experience in a business function role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, business, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 1 year of experience in technical leadership.
