Requirements
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, or possess a Bachelor's Degree in another field but have also obtained an Associate's Degree in ECE, a Technical College Diploma or Certificate in ECE, a Montessori Teaching Diploma accredited by MACTE, or a valid Preschool CDA credential, and are able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee classroom activities, adhering to standards set by GA Dept of Early Care and Learning, and aligning with the objectives of the current GA Pre-K Curriculum.
  • Create a nurturing and positive environment for children and their families, fostering strong bonds and supporting their comprehensive development.
  • Design and execute learning experiences that encompass a broad range of developmental areas including physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, and creative expression.
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor the children's progress, tailoring the curriculum to meet the individual needs of each child, including those with disabilities.
  • Uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring a secure and clean environment by adhering to strict procedures for hygiene, food handling, illness management, and child supervision.
