Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Ten plus years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchase-to-pay (P2P), and accounts payable (AP) functions, with at least five years in a senior leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of indirect procurement, supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, and environmental, social and governance (ESG) compliance best practices
  • Experience with Source-to-Pay and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (for example SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle)
  • Deep understanding of financial controls, accounts payable automation, and working capital management
  • Proven track record of driving cost savings, process efficiencies, and procurement transformation initiatives
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills; ability to drive change management or process improvement
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Coupa
  • Project management
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of procurement strategies for the region/function, integrating global initiatives into regional and functional contexts
  • Design, manage, and continuously improve procurement strategies, ensuring they are aligned with the organization's goals and the external market environment
  • Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Champion the development of procurement professionals and drive the function towards best-in-class standards
  • Oversee the execution of the high value and strategic supplier relationship management; build strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent value delivery, compliance, and innovation
  • Identify, unlock, and deliver cost savings opportunities across procurement categories; drive hard cost reduction, total cost of ownership improvements, and process efficiencies
  • Redesign and refresh category strategies, ensuring alignment with market trends and business needs; develop and implement best-in-class sourcing approaches, including market analysis, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management across all categories
  • Act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership teams, engaging with functional/regional leaders to understand operational needs
  • Ensure procurement processes adhere to corporate policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements; develop risk mitigation strategies and a robust compliance framework
  • Establish and track procurement performance metrics; regularly report on KPIs such as cost savings, supplier performance, contract compliance, and risk management
  • Develop and implement an indirect sourcing framework; establish supplier governance models; drive cost savings through spend analysis and strategic negotiations; collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs
  • Ensure compliance with global procurement policy, ethical sourcing practices, and regulatory requirements; drive transformation leveraging S2P technology; build roadmaps to increase automation; design roadmaps for improving procurement operations processes and onboarding suppliers
  • Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing and category management processes for Europe across FM, MRO, Utilities, MHE, Fleet, Marketing, Office Supplies, Packaging and Sustainability / Decarbonization; support categories in TS, Telecom, Digital, Travel, HR, Professional Services, Real Estate and Plant Equipment
  • Provision of effective business partnering to the Europe Leadership Team through proactive procurement guidance at operational and strategic levels for Indirect Procurement
  • Oversee Accounts Payable activities across Europe Business Units including invoice processing, payment processing, expense claim processing, vendor help desk, debit balance accounting, GRNI, bank administration, concurrent payment audits, and duplicate recovery; collaborate with Genpact to improve processes
  • Review relevant performance metrics and SLAs; lead quarterly SLA and performance review meetings; escalate as needed; support Global Team to standardize and improve regional processes
  • Identify and develop metrics to monitor the end-to-end performance beyond contractual KPIs and CPI’s
  • Act as a key point of contact with Regional Business and Finance Leaders about S2P matters; ensure the business knows how to log and track issues for resolution; ensure accounting policies and business process changes are implemented; act as audit liaison to Internal and External Auditors; manage relationships with direct procurement leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives
