Cadre runs a robust stack (React, Django, PostgreSQL), continuously integrated and deployed on AWS. Our tech stack is following the best industry practices, always evolving and you will help set its technical direction.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Reignite the data engineering practice in the company. Define and promote data engineering best practices across the company.
• Build,own and maintain our data warehouse 
• Build data pipelines to move data from various internal and external sources into a data warehouse that can scale with the growing data needs of the company. 
• Own, maintain and (where applicable) rewrite the existing data pipelines 
• Make and implement data infra technology choices that enable data centric decision making across the company.
• Help define and build key datasets across all Cadre product areas. Lead the evolution of these datasets as use cases grow.
• Support data engineering needs across the organization including but not limited to
• Business analytics 
• Product and marketing analytics 
• Data science 
• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to understand and prioritize data needs across the company.
• Technical leadership, coaching, and building a team of highly skilled data engineers. 

WHAT YOU HAVE

• 6+ years of experience as a data engineer.
• 2+ years of experience as a sr / lead data engineer.
• Experience with GCP and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with Airflow and other open-source data technologies.
• Skilled at developing and debugging in Python and Django or the ability to learn them quickly.
• Working knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases. 
• Technical leadership; capable of handling mentorship, cross functional project execution, and solid individual contribution. 
• Demonstrated ability to deliver on complex technical projects by collaborating closely with stakeholders. 
• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field. 
• Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication.

The Base Salary for this role ranges from $160,000-$180,000 plus bonus and equity. The final offer number for base salary will be determined based on location and experience, both in industry and alignment with the role.
