Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions that leverage or integrate generative artificial intelligence.
  • Experience with or supporting National Security customers.
  • Experience with programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demonstrations, or customer workshops.
  • An active United States Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance with polygraph.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
  • Share enterprise infrastructure modernization expertise to support technical customer relationships, including technology advocacy, bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partnership with product management to prioritize solutions affecting customer adoption of Google Cloud.
  • Leverage Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments.
  • Guide customers through assessments of legacy application environments and provide recommendations for infrastructure and application modernization prioritization roadmaps.
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure needed to implement complete solutions on Google Cloud.
  • Partner with technical sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud to customers.
  • Help prospective and existing customers and partners understand Google Cloud, develop cloud solutions and architectures, engage in proofs of concept, and troubleshoot technical questions and roadblocks.
  • Use technical expertise and presentation skills to understand customer business and technical requirements and present practical Google Cloud solutions.
  • Work internally with Google teams and externally with customers on positioning, providing, and producing foundational artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities for air-gapped environments.
  • Liaise with product marketing management and engineering teams to monitor industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience selling technical solutions in infrastructure modernization, application modernization, data management, data analytics, cloud artificial intelligence, networking, migrations, or security.
  • Experience managing the entire business cycle, including defining delivery and consumption plans and transitioning them for execution.
  • Experience building long-term technical strategies to uncover new customer workloads.
  • Experience with security concepts such as encryption, identity management, access control, attack vectors, and penetration testing.
  • Experience prospecting and building and maintaining customer relationships from scratch, including building greenfield territories in government accounts.
