Those in Maximo consulting at PwC will specialise in Maximo applications and assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support tailored to Maximo software.

Responsible for activities and processes that help the sales organization achieve business objectives. 
In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining demonstration systems of GE Digital Grid solutions. 
Specifically, you will focus on our Distribution suite of solutions ensuring our Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS)/Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS)
demonstration environments are tuned and ready for our solution consultants to show the latest capabilities. 
As part of the pre-sales organization, you will work closely with solution consultants and product management to ensure customer desired outcomes are demonstrable in the systems. 
You will also provide support troubleshooting issues on the demo systems and create technical collateral required by the solution consultants.



Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Collaborate with solution consultants, sales teams, and product management to define demo requirements for our ADMS/DERMS solution.
Deploy and configure the demonstration system of GE Digital Grid solutions focusing on ADMS/DERMS and SCADA.
Develop, implement, and optimize the Company’s ADMS/DERMS.
Engage in consulting and researching to review market-ready DER capabilities.
Develop the Company’s requirements for ADMS/DERMS integration and management.
Troubleshoot and provide subject matter expertise to address issues found on demonstration systems providing real-time support for the solution consultants. 
Interface with pre-sales solution consultants globally to train them on new     , system start-up steps, basic troubleshooting and standard demo scenarios.
Assist in the configuration and troubleshooting support on large competitive benchmark demonstrations. 
Assist in GE data model improvements.
Provide feedback to product and engineering on product issues (defects noticed whilst configuring/setting up demos), feature improvement and/or product gaps based on your experience or feedback from solution consultants and sales teams. 
Contribute to UI/UX design discussions providing feedback and integration of latest UI/UX in demonstration system.
Deploy and maintain demonstration systems in the Cloud.
Expand the set of standard demo scenarios and provide feedback on ways they can be improved. 
Write scripts to automate any system set up steps needed to be done by the solution consultants.
Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members, customers, and leadership.
Maintain & continuously update technical skills and knowledge 
Work independently as well as part of the team.
Familiarity with ADMS/DERMS solutions and/or WAMS solutions, plus SCADA, Energy Management Systems, Advanced Distribution Management Systems, and/or Outage Management Systems.
Proven track record for delivering results and leading teams in a dynamic business environment.
Strong customer focus mindset and willingness to meet tight deadlines.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus in power systems or in STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) plus at least 10 years of experience OR
Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering with a focus in power systems plus at least 10 years of experience OR
Bachelor's degree in STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) plus at least 10 years’ experience in operating, configuring, deploying, and managing ADMS/DERMS solutions, with a deep understanding on electricity network management processes and maintenance.

Desired Characteristics

Good understanding of power systems with focus on Distribution Network Applications like Power flow, Fault Location, Isolation and Service Restoration, Load and Volt Var Management and Training Simulator.
Experience with Oracle Databases and upgrading Oracle
Knowledge of operating systems including Windows and Linux (Redhat)
Knowledge on Perl, PowerShell, Python and SQL scripting languages.
Experienced deploying or managing containerized environments with Kubernetes.
Knowledge and experience with electric utility industry practices.
Fluent in English language including oral, reading, and writing skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Knowledge of revision control systems (GIT) and repository managers (Artifactory, Nexus)

Nice to have

Experience deploying into or maintaining cloud environments using AWS.
Good knowledge of Jenkins pipelines
Product deployment technologies such as helm
Creating infrastructure from code via Terraform.
Knowledge of CI/CD.
