Requirements
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (additional Catalan/French an advantage)
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in upscale or luxury hospitality, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
  • Strong background in lifestyle or design-driven hotels, with a deep understanding of brand positioning, guest experience, and market differentiation
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale hotel operations (rooms, F&B, events), ensuring high service standards and profitability
  • Proven experience in revitalizing underperforming properties, introducing creative concepts and initiatives that drive topline revenue growth, guest satisfaction, and team engagement
  • Commercial acumen with a strong grasp of financial performance, revenue management, and strategic business planning
  • Leadership that is collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented, with ability to inspire diverse teams and foster a culture of creativity and accountability
  • Experience working with ownership groups, asset managers, and corporate teams, balancing strategic alignment with local execution
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation and guest-centric experiences

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the establishment, ensuring profitability and profit margins
  • Manage the daily operations of the establishment. Monitor and evaluate profitability. Develop and utilize dashboards to track business activity
  • Assess material and immaterial resources necessary for smooth operations
  • Organize the supply of materials, equipment, and provisions
  • Responsible for legal compliance and follow-up
  • Be accountable for achieving the commercial, managerial, and financial objectives of the hotel
  • Prepare the budget and implement action plans to ensure profitability
  • Adapt flexibly, intelligently, and proactively to the needs of the business while anticipating future challenges
  • Continuously adjust the service offering according to customer trends
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis
  • Monitor and evaluate service quality
  • Implement promotional initiatives for the establishment
  • Act as the hotel’s first “ambassador” with clients and local institutions
  • Ensure client satisfaction (guests, employees, and owners) and the quality of services offered
  • Supervise, lead, and manage a team of 400 employees while developing their skills
  • Assess training needs and implement actions accordingly. Handle recruitment and terminations
  • Lead meetings
  • Manage press relations and coordinate public relations
