Requirements
  • Experience using infrastructure as code like Terraform or Cloudformation
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, and/or Ansible.
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration tools like Docker, ECS, and/or EKS
  • Experience with build tools like AWS Codebuild, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
  • Experience with Linux administration
  • Direct experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Responsibilities
  • The DevOps Engineer supports development teams by implementing DevOps methodologies into an Agile software development environment, as well as maintaining best practices in cloud engineering.
  • Collaborating with other engineers to support and develop application environments, which includes improving CI/CD pipelines and deploying cloud resources.
  • Supporting the entire Software Development Lifecycle with an emphasis on build, test and release management via automation.
  • Analyzing AWS cloud environments for technical and process improvements (e.g. integration of security measures, cost savings, improved availability, reduced bugs, etc.).
  • Maintaining cloud infrastructure, deploying updates and fixes, investigating, and resolving technical and network issues, providing technical support to developers and end-users.
  • Participates in architecture and software development activities.
  • Translates loosely defined requirements into solutions.
  • Uses coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with a custom workflow.
