Salary Range: 90000 to 114000 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)
Reframe Data Services is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help develop several data-driven technology platforms that will have significant impact on politics, scientific knowledge creation, and healthcare. Thorough understanding of life cycle development through production implementation and post implementation. This position will support development and data engineering teams across development and production environments. Candidate will be creative, have good time management skills,is comfortable working in small teams, jumping between several projects at once and coordinating with US and non-US based developers.

Responsibilities
- The DevOps Engineer supports development teams by implementing DevOps methodologies into an Agile software development environment, as well as maintaining best practices in cloud engineering.
- Collaborating with other engineers to support and develop application environments, which includes improving CI/CD pipelines and deploying cloud resources.
- Supporting the entire Software Development Lifecycle with an emphasis on build, test and release management via automation.
- Analyzing AWS cloud environments for technical and process improvements (e.g. integration of security measures, cost savings, improved availability, reduced bugs, etc.).
- Maintaining cloud infrastructure, deploying updates and fixes, investigating, and resolving technical and network issues, providing technical support to developers and end-users.
- Participates in architecture and software development activities.
- Translates loosely defined requirements into solutions.
- Uses coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with a custom workflow.
Requirements
- Experience using infrastructure as code like Terraform or Cloudformation
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, and/or Ansible.
- Experience with containers and container orchestration tools like Docker, ECS, and/or EKS
- Experience with build tools like AWS Codebuild, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
- Experience with Linux administration
- Direct experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
