Requirements
  • 10 plus years of experience working for a financial services organization
  • Balance Sheet, Treasury or Liquidity experience
  • Familiarity with Liquidity Regulations (Regulation YY and Regulation WW)
  • Must have advanced analytical skills but also the ability to see the big picture
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and coordination skills are imperative i.e. ability to make complex subjects easily digestible for senior management
  • Exercises proven Power Point and Excel skills; ability to tell a story concisely in Power Point
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Must be a team player
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field; advanced degree is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the governance of funding of the balance sheet and liquidity management.
  • Involved in liquidity risk committee and forum oversight
  • Contribute to management of first interpretation of Liquidity Policy, first line procedures, risk appetite documentation, liquidity entity structure and contingency funding planning.
  • Lead parts of the Contingency Funding Planning process and its governance
  • Lead parts of the Resolution and Recovery Planning process for the liquidity risk stripe.
  • Exposure to Citi’s balance sheet and develop understanding of data and technology infrastructure supporting the liquidity reporting and monitoring processes.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by complying with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting issues with transparency.
  • Directs project prioritization and future state planning and strategic direction.
  • Exposure into various facets of Risk and Finance Processes within Citi; interacting with various levels within the organization.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned
