Requirements
  • Candidates should have 0–3 years of experience, including internships or equivalent hands-on work.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more backend languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript, or Python is required.
  • Candidates must have proven experience using AI coding assistants to explore multiple implementation approaches in parallel and accelerate the software development life cycle.
  • Candidates should have experience or strong interest in cloud-native application development using AWS or Azure, Docker, and containerized workflows.
  • Candidates should have experience writing automated tests and contributing to automated deployment pipelines.
  • Candidates should have a proactive approach to problem-solving and be willing to get up to speed quickly with new tools, particularly in the AI space.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a highly collaborative, diverse team setting are required.
Responsibilities
  • Use AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to rapidly prototype, debug, and optimize backend services and networking flows.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, maintainable, and secure backend services, including enhancing and optimizing existing applications, using AI-accelerated software development life cycle practices.
  • Develop cloud-native features using AWS and Azure services, including integrated monitoring and observability.
  • Design and build services that support internal and external system integrations, including APIs and data pipelines.
  • Produce and maintain automated tests using JUnit, Go testing libraries, and Python-based frameworks, and conduct detailed reviews of AI-generated code with a focus on architectural fit and edge cases.
  • Work with relational and analytical data stores, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, RDS, and vector or graph databases, to support complex AI-driven business logic.
  • Write non-application code, including infrastructure as code, unit tests, and continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Troubleshoot full-stack issues, including debugging service communication and complex networking flows.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and AI tools that improve development efficiency and system performance.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support critical system issues and ensure high availability.

Trend Micro reports highest-ever $1.9B revenue for FY 2025, driven by 58% platform ARR growth

Trend Micro has reported record quarterly and annual results for 2025, with fiscal year net revenue reaching ¥276 billion and operating income of ¥58 billion. The cybersecurity company posted 5% year-over-year net sales growth in Q4 and 1% for the full year. Total company annual recurring revenue grew to $1.7 billion, with large enterprise platform ARR increasing 58% year-over-year to $467 million. The enterprise business saw 8% net sales growth in Q4, adding 1,000 new platform customers in 2025. The consumer business experienced 11% sales growth in Q4, driven by strong adoption of its ScamCheck product, which saw downloads increase 107%. However, previous payment processing issues led to a 9% decline in consumer net sales for the full year. For 2026, Trend Micro expects consolidated net sales of ¥301.5 billion.
