What We Do
Laika combines simple software with expert support to help SaaS companies manage security compliance, security audits, and enterprise procurement security diligence. Laika helps companies adopt stage-appropriate compliance practices that enterprises can trust and reduce the time and costs of security audits like SOC 2, ISO27001, PCI, NIST, HIPAA, etc. by 50% or more.
We are a rapidly expanding team based in New York. We were founded in May 2019 and raised our Series C funding in November 2022. Our top investors include: J.P. Morgan, PayPal Ventures, Fin Capital, Centana, and Bain Capital. We’re growing customers and revenue dramatically and we’re poised for continued break-out growth in 2023 and beyond.
About the Role
We are hiring for a Compliance Data Analyst, and you will be responsible for preparing deliverables and reviewing customer evidence for adherence to compliance requirements and best practices.
This role will be reporting directly to the Customer Operations Manager and will work closely with our Customer Experience (CX), Customer Operations, Compliance Architect, and Audit teams to help navigate our customers through their compliance journeys.
What You’ll Do
- Support the CX team by reviewing customer evidence, policies, and documentation for audit readiness and compliance best practices
- Identify areas of weakness in customer deliverables and analyze areas for improvement
- Build out and enhance evidence review processes
- Create internal process collateral and contribute to the company’s knowledge base
- Address due diligence questionnaires and concerns
- Support the Customer Operations team by assisting with audit preparation, customer support, and operationalizing best practices
Skillsets/ Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of related working experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in related fields
- Advanced English level
- Data analysis skills
- Project management experience and organizational skills
- Excel/Google Spreadsheets fluency, and the ability to quickly learn other platforms and proprietary software
- Attention to detail and exploratory problem solving skills
Bonus Points
- You have experience or interest in Compliance and related processes and fields
- You have experience operationalizing processes and implementing process improvements
- You have audit or IT support experience
