Requirements
  • 2+ years of product design work experience
  • High craft bar and attention to detail in visual design, interaction design, and prototyping
  • Experience with common prototyping tools to demonstrate complex features and flows in web experiences
  • Ability to describe impact in quantitative/business metrics as well as qualitative methods
  • Experience across the product development lifecycle from discovery through shipping and iteration
  • Demonstrated skills for collaborating closely with product managers, engineers and customers in order to achieve better design outcomes
  • Familiarity with designing for B2B SaaS products
  • Ownership mindset with a bias towards action, helping to drive teams and projects forward.
Responsibilities
  • Impact. Have a bias for action and deliver high-quality work that adds the most value for customers and our business.
  • Customer focus. Understand the needs of DocSend customers and validate that proposed solutions solve their problems.
  • Interaction design. Design tasks that are easy and efficient for customers to complete, incorporating multiple states, edge cases, micro-interactions and/or accessibility requirements.
  • Visual design. Consistently practice good use of visual design skills (color, layout, typography, visual hierarchy)
  • Communication. Clear verbal and written communication. Proactively identify issues and share information to ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Solution generation. Explore solutions in varying degrees of fidelity. Generate ideas based on multiple inputs (audits, research, data), using known patterns when appropriate.
  • Product strategy. Understand how our business works and how our product strategy supports it. Designs customer-centric solutions aligned to vision and objectives.
  • Decision-making. Identify and gather input from the right stakeholders and consider customer needs to make informed and timely decisions.
