Requirements
- An active registered nurse license in Maryland or licensure in a compact state is required.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in the specialty area, is required.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate programs involving hospital inpatients, outpatients, families, community members, and employees of the hospital and university, delivering care using evidence-based practices aligned with Johns Hopkins Hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Provide leadership and direction to other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in patient care.
- Collaborate with and lead multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support program initiatives focused on quality, safety, and clinical excellence.
- Participate in identifying and promoting clinical, financial, and operational quality improvement initiatives within the specialty area.
- Initiate and participate in research activities relevant to the specialty.
- Implement specialty-specific initiatives as directed by nursing and medical leadership.
- Foster a clinical environment rooted in service excellence.
