Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- Strong industry/trade press relationships with a proven record of story placement are a plus
- Creative strategist with strong written communication skills & the ability to develop concise and compelling press messages
- Critical thinker that is analytical, highly communicative, and able to deal with ambiguity and a fast-paced changing environment
Responsibilities
- Develop core messaging aligned with company brand architecture and product offering
- Develop press releases, pitches, Q&As, and messaging to support the ongoing activities of Last Energy
- Identify and build relationships with key editors and influencers in the press, social media, and industry communities
- Identify and manage award and speaking engagement submissions for industry associations, events, and more
- Coordinate interviews and press releases along with creating talking points and presentations to support various events, campaigns, and meetings
- Develop a plan to secure and maximize a brand presence in emerging markets (press mentions, content, award submissions, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with European PR markets is a plus
