Opportunity
We are looking for an idea-obsessed and highly motivated Creative Director with a track record for solving complex challenges and unlocking opportunities with creativity.
Creative Directors at Envoy are empowered creative leaders who have strategic mindsets, design pedigree, mastery of execution, and inspirational leadership. You have experience delivering thoughtful, meaningful, design-driven solutions across a broad spectrum of media, ranging from digital platforms to brand development to digital platforms to advertising campaigns. As Creative Director, you will collaborate regularly with strategists, designers, copywriters, and a partner experience team.
This is a hybrid position out of our Irvine office.
What You Will Do
- Lead creative initiatives, working in tandem with project management, account, and strategy teams.
- Oversee the creative direction, implementation, and growth of significant accounts.
- Synthesize research and insights to develop, design, and deliver exceptional creative and content ideas that are timely, brand-aligned, and strategically sound.
- Offer strategic guidance and innovative solutions to writers, designers, and other creatives to achieve critical creative and business goals.
- Guide and develop designers of all levels to optimize their growth and performance, ensuring maximum efficiency and creativity.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Creative Officers to maintain and surpass quality and creativity standards in all outputs.
- Engage actively with both internal and external stakeholders to provide top-tier client service.
- Manage and prioritize workloads effectively, especially in high-pressure scenarios involving tight deadlines and potential travel.
- Exhibit an increasing ability to problem-solve, foresee potential issues, and remove obstacles for project completion.
- Be a proactive collaborator, continually seeking new ways to foster a creative environment.
- Craft outstanding and compelling copy that fulfills both internal and external standards.
- Clearly present creative strategies and concepts to clients, forming compelling arguments to endorse the work.
- Assist clients by promptly and professionally addressing issues and queries.
- Understand the client’s business, brand, products, and customer base.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and creative meetings.
Qualities and Qualifications
- 10+ years’ design experience in branding, digital, advertising, art direction, and design.
- Experience with UX, interaction design, motion design, technology, and usability.
- Have a profound knowledge of art direction, brand identity, packaging, environmental design, social media, storytelling, and web standards, continually introducing fresh ideas.
- Expertise in Figma, Keynote, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- An understanding of technology platforms (Magento, Shopify).
- The ability to use creative genius and passion for solving problems in an artful way.
- Active passion/student of design, creativity, and digital technology.
What We Offer
The salary range for this position is between $160,000 to $170,000, plus benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
