Requirements
  • At least ten years of experience supporting United States Navy shipboard C5I or electronic systems installations.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex integrated shipboard systems.
  • Experience conducting shipboard surveys, installation assessments, and technical evaluations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with government customers, shipyard personnel, engineers, and program management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • An Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline is preferred; relevant military experience or equivalent technical experience may substitute for formal education.
  • A Top Secret security clearance is required.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, manage, and oversee the full lifecycle of radio communications suite systems on Landing Helicopter Assault platforms, from procurement through integration, testing, and installation.
  • Ensure radio communications are properly integrated and rigorously tested to meet operational and technical standards.
  • Oversee contractor diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex technical issues related to radio-frequency systems and communication suites during installation and testing.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate system installation and compliance.
  • Work with engineering teams, project managers, vendors, and installation crews to meet project milestones on time and within scope.
  • Work in industrial environments aboard Navy platforms as needed.
  • Travel to shipyards, installation sites, or vendor locations.
