Requirements
  • Successfully completed degree in mathematics or business mathematics at Bachelor's, Master's, or Diplom level.
  • Fluent German and good English language skills, spoken and written.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
  • Provide support to national and international companies on all matters relating to occupational pension schemes.
  • Perform actuarial calculations concerning occupational pension and other personnel obligations under German tax and commercial law and international accounting standards.
  • Process questions relating to tax and employment law for occupational pension schemes, including supporting and advising clients.
  • Prepare forecasts and other analyses.
  • Contribute to client projects as needed, such as reorganizations, changes in implementation vehicles, and mergers and acquisitions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Initial professional experience in actuarial valuation of occupational pension schemes and other personnel obligations under the German Income Tax Act, German Commercial Code, and International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Completed or commenced training as an actuary through DAV or IVS.
