- Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Hold current Basic Life Support certification.
- Hold current licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.
- Have knowledge of infection-control principles, performance improvement, and delegation.
- Be flexible with variable hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Be willing to travel and provide coverage across the listed Hudson Valley Medical Group locations as needed.
- Live within a commutable distance to NewYork-Presbyterian.
- Provide direct patient care as delegated by and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Contribute to the patient-care plan.
- Assist in providing a therapeutic environment.
- Function within the policies and procedures of NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group, its divisions, and the Clinical Nursing departments and practices.
