Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience building production web applications with React.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern React patterns, including server components, hooks, and data fetching.
  • Experience with Next.js or a similar framework, including routing, server-side rendering, static-site generation, API routes, and caching.
  • Experience with frontend performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Comfort working with RESTful APIs and understanding backend data models.
  • Ability to work closely with design, operations, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work across the stack and trace bugs or build features end-to-end.
  • Ability to write product requirements documents, SQL queries, and own quality assurance tasks.
Responsibilities
  • Own major surfaces of the Next.js application, including search, scheduling, provider profiles, and checkout.
  • Build and scale a seamless consumer healthcare product on the web.
  • Make frontend architecture decisions involving component patterns, state management, data-fetching strategies, performance optimization, and testing.
  • Work closely with design to implement polished interactions and micro-details.
  • Navigate tradeoffs between engineering velocity and quality.
  • Integrate with electronic health records and revenue cycle management systems as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with modern backend frameworks, including Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL.
  • Healthcare background or experience is a plus.
