Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, cloud security, and platform operations.
- Working knowledge of at least one secondary cloud platform such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with OCI Compute, Block/Object/File Storage Service, Virtual Cloud Networks, Network Security Groups, route tables, gateways, Dynamic Routing Gateway, peering, load balancing, Web Application Firewall, FastConnect, and IPSec VPN.
- Experience with OCI Identity and Access Management, compartments, policies, federation, Vault, Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Data Safe, Autonomous Database, Database Cloud Service, Exadata, Oracle Kubernetes Engine, OCI DevOps, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Registry, Functions, API Gateway, Monitoring, Logging, Application Performance Monitoring, and Operations Insights.
- Experience developing Infrastructure-as-Code modules using Terraform or OCI Resource Manager, including modules, workspaces, and remote state.
- Experience with Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Git, and GitOps.
- Experience supporting CI/CD with OCI DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience automating operational tasks using Python, Bash, Ansible, and cloud-native tools.
- Experience monitoring cloud environments with OCI Monitoring, Logging, APM, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Dynatrace.
- Experience implementing cloud security controls including IAM policies, multifactor authentication, Vault/KMS, encryption, Bastion, Cloud Guard, Security Zones, and Vulnerability Scanning.
- Experience supporting production environments, incident management, and change management.
- A minimum of 2 years of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experience, or strong cloud experience with demonstrable OCI exposure.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least one OCI Associate certification, such as OCI Foundations Associate, OCI Architect Associate, or OCI Operations Associate.
Responsibilities
- Provision and configure OCI resources including Compute, Storage, VCN, Load Balancer, DBCS, and Autonomous Database.
- Implement and manage OCI networking components such as VCNs, subnets, NSGs, route tables, gateways, VPNs, FastConnect, and DNS.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code modules using Terraform or OCI Resource Manager.
- Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, Ansible, and cloud-native tools.
- Support CI/CD deployments using OCI DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Monitor cloud environments using OCI Monitoring, Logging, APM, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Dynatrace.
- Perform routine operations including patching, backups, certificate renewals, capacity checks, and incident resolution.
- Implement cloud security controls including IAM policies, MFA, Vault/KMS, encryption, Bastion, Cloud Guard, Security Zones, and Vulnerability Scanning.
- Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives to OCI.
- Assist application teams deploying workloads on OKE, WebLogic, Oracle Database, Functions, and API Gateway.
- Contribute to cost optimization, automation, and operational documentation.
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certifications such as OCI Architect Professional, AWS SAA, Azure AZ-104, GCP ACE, Terraform Associate, CKA, RHCSA, or Oracle Linux Certification.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform as a secondary cloud platform.
- Basic awareness of PowerShell.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
