Requirements
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or a related field is required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm is required.
  • Experience leading teams through all phases of milestone-based project delivery is required.
  • Basic knowledge of architectural contracts and contract execution procedures is required.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office is required.
  • Expertise using collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Microsoft Teams is required.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related written communications, verbal instructions, and interactions is required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage project teams through all project phases and ensure deliverables align with contracts, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Ensure required contracts are in place before beginning contract deliverables.
  • Create and maintain milestone-based project schedules and staffing workplans.
  • Create and maintain Project Charters and comprehensive quality assurance and quality control plans.
  • Assist with project proposals and requests for proposal responses.
  • Monitor project financial status and complete intermediate financial reviews with Team Leads or the Principal-in-Charge.
  • Review monthly project invoicing and consultant billing.
  • Produce and issue weekly project updates covering contract deliverables, financial updates, contracts, and permitting reports.
  • Lead or direct internal and external project team meetings.
  • Participate in quality control procedures and review externally distributed project deliverables.
  • Oversee team activities during Construction Administration, including weekly reviews of Requests for Information and submittal logs and attendance at project OAC meetings.
  • Review site visit reports and punch lists before issuance.
  • Host internal and external project debrief meetings after construction and identify opportunities to improve service and results.
  • Initiate project closeout procedures after substantial completion and finalize them in alignment with contractual obligations.
  • Manage internal and external resources to ensure consistent quality and project profitability.
  • Manage team-member performance and provide accurate, relevant feedback.
  • Conduct monthly one-on-one check-ins with internal team members.
  • Conduct mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
Desired Qualifications
  • Programmatic or rollout Food & Beverage experience is preferred.
  • Professional licensure or certification is preferred.
